Does Sentiment Predict Consumption Growth of Indian Households?
This joint work with Dr. Siddhartha Chattopadhyay of IIT Kharagpur and Dr. Sohini Sahu of IIT Kanpur examines the role of sentiment in predicting household consumption growth in India.
Earlier versions of the paper were presented at the 19th Annual Conference at ISI Delhi and at the Workshop on Open Economy Macroeconomics and Economic Integration in Emerging Market Economies at the Centre for Development Studies, Thiruvananthapuram.
